A Delicious Dairy Free Protein Packed Peanut Butter Punch (Smoothie)




Growing up in a Trinidadian household, peanut punch was one of my father's go-to drinks after a long hard day of work. He would say this gave him more energy after the hard day he had. I didn't work as hard but sure enjoyed drinking peanut punch whenever my mother made it.

As my volleyball career grew my eating habits evolved into healthier choices, like cutting out dairy and introducing dairy substitutes and plant based milk. With this change the dairy free peanut butter power punch was born! It is my go-to protein packed post workout drink!



PEANUT BUTTER POWER PUNCH (SMOOTHIE)



Ingredients


  • 3 tbsp Peanut butter

  • ½ Banana

  • 3 tbsp Oats

  • 1 cup Almond milk

  • Handful Spinach

  • dash Cinnamon

  • Dash vanilla essence



Add all ingredients to the blender and blend till smooth

Drink and enjoy!
